Once you've downloaded Align, open the app and click "Get Started" to sign up and purchase your subscription or, if you've already purchased a subscription on our website, login using your existing account details. The first time you access the app you will be asked to answer a few questions, helping us determine your experience level, reason for joining, weekly schedule, main focus etc. Once you've completed this process, you will be taken to the Align tab.
The Align Tab (Λ icon) will allow you to navigate between your:
- Flows (Home icon),
- Mindlog (Notes icon) and
- Meditations (Headphones icon)
Flows include four categories: "Flows", "Skills", "Breathing" and "Drills"
The first time you visit this tab, the app will automatically generate a weekly schedule for you, including sessions across all categories. Your calendar gives you a structured approach to yoga and training with daily recommendations on which classes to follow. You will be shown today's classes but you can also tap on the "Week List" (or calendar icon) at the top to see a brief overview of your week and navigate between the different days. Each day you can add and delete classes to tailor your schedule to your individual needs and goals.
All classes for Flows, Skills, and Breathing come with a brief description of what their focus and aim is, as well as real-time video instructions you can follow to complete them.
Drills are sessions you can build yourself. Just select from a range of exercises, choosing the amount of reps and rounds that work for you, and generate your session.
Your Mindlog is an easy way for you to track your thoughts. It will prompt you to write something down daily but you can also use it to write and save your own new entries at any time.
The Meditations tab offers a range of guided meditations, available as audio sessions narrated by Jessica Olie, which you can easily play and pause.
Finally, your Profile tab (top right corner) will show you how your stats, including how many days you've been using the app, how many meditations you've completed etc.
